Bob and Diane Moved to UAE in Middle East |

Bob is Petrofac's "HSE Design Integrity" client lead for a gas processing project in Turkmenistan. Diane & Chai got to UAE after Bob, enjoyed walks to Al Qasba canal while at Golden Tulip hotel. We have leased a top-floor condominium in Al Badai Hillside Village, Festival City in Dubai: see interactive city map, area map, local roads, satellite photo. Bob joined Sharjah Wanderers Sports and Social Club, looking forward to their Dive Club trips. We both attend Christ Church on Jebel Ali, the port city at the end of the Metro Red Line

970 0761: e-mails the same. Bob returned to EPC work in 2005, but then there was a significant downturn in 2009 (read his observations on transitions). His employer KBR had to do "Reduction-In-Force" - including Bob - in May. He put out his resume to 30-plus firms and agencies, stayed busy adding workshop area at home for carpentry & repairs, plus a project to replace church cooling tower. August 2009 he had a video interview with Saudi Aramco to be HSE Lead for "Pipelines", then early September was asked by Petrofac and Mott MacDonald to come to UAE for interviews, resulting in a job offer as "HSE Design Technical Specialist" with Petrofac in Sharjah, U.A.E. Bob started Sept 23, then Diane & our Shih Tzu "Chai" followed a few weeks later.
