a case study for their coldest day to ensure no condensation in event C4/C5 mix
release to flare
2005-2006 BP Refinery,
As part of process study of options for Canadian extra
heavy crude oil, was responsible for the baseline history of steam, fuel, water
and hydrogen. Used PI historian to establish annual mean,
maximum and seasonal variations. Evaluated opportunity to use one of the
two existing flares for new/modified units and demonstrated a third flare was
required. Reviewed on-site vs. pipeline terminal
storage options for product movements by ship and/or pipeline.
